    The location of this motel was excellent-it does need a sign on the white wall so you know that it is the Motel. The signage points down Powell street but the GPS brings you from the port to the motel

    Another great little motel. Modernised clean,fresh , great bed. Nice and quiet tucked off the street. No noise from the hotel which it's attached to. Centre of town. Bowen Town how all towns and cities should be designed, huge wide streets, no traffic lights and parking everywhere.

    Simon the proprietor was very helpful, & dealt with our questions patiently. The property is about a 10 min walk from the seashore. Bowen is a small-ish town that looks & feels unspoiled. If ever I return there, Bluewater Harbour Motel would be my first option for accommodation.

    Stayed here before. Great location. Very comfortable and spacious room. Well stocked with travel necessities. It’s great to have a shower with good water pressure and hot! And other motels could take note about the need for decent lighting above the mirror

    The Motel catered foir meals delivered to the room which was very convenient for us after a full day on the road. Also the view from our room was marvellous, overlooking the Coral Sea. The general feeling of the place and the Owner was that it was "old fashioned" which suited us oldies just fine. it also catered for pets, which we didn't need though.
