The Adelphi is deserving of the high ratings it gets. We enjoyed the clean layout, wonderful shower and washer/dryer. Great location for the park, if you are a runner or walker. The bed was so comfortable and of course the owner is charming!

Needed to book last minute due to the place we were to stay at cancelling our booking because they couldn't get in touch with us. Everything from the reception to the room was excellent. Couldn't recommend it enough and will be the accommodation of choice on our next visit to Christchurch

    The check-in process was very easy, the owner was very friendly (and their cat rupert was lovely too!), the facilities were clean & modern, it's one of the few motels I have stayed in where there were environmentally conscious choices evident (i.e. individual shampoo packets, organic soaps etc). The room was quiet, spacious and in a great location. The TV had movie channels which is always nice. The room service was great.

    Hosts were so accommodating, nothing was a problem even though we were extremely late with our arrival. Although this location was out of our way, we are happy to continue staying with Lincoln Motel.

    On arrival real milk was offered for the tea coffee facilities and in the room water had been placed in a jug in the fridge. The room was cleaned every day, which I had not expected in a motel. Really fabulous lemongrass and goats milk soap was in the bathroom.

    Central for our requirements, rooms gad every requirement you cod need for a motel lovely hot shower parking outside your room good little laundry room, iron etc in your room.

    Visited to be able to meet my new grandson and motel was perfect location being 1km from their home. The 1 bedroom was perfect giving space and fabulous amenities with a bed I would love to have taken home. We will be back and will book again without a doubt. P.S the closeness to cafe and bar (laboratory) were also a bonus.
