Motel One Dresden am Zwinger is an ideal starting point for walks through Dresden’s baroque city centre. The Saxon State Opera Dresden is 250 metres away, and the River Elbe is a 10-minute walk away. Clean, comfortable bed, location is excellent, nice lobby/lounge/bar area. When you enter your room and plug your key in the wall, the TV automatically turns on to a fireplace with a nice video video of a fire. Corny, yes, but we liked it. Staff's English was excellent!

The best location in Leipzig - right across from the Nikolaikirche! I discovered this excellent hotel on my previous visit to Leipzig and therefore booked it. Very good internet. In front of the hotel there are tables and seating belonging to the hotel, which is very rare to find anymore.

As described. Perfect for a night to take a break after a long drive. It is right behind the gas station, so if needed there is also food etc available.
