The large bay windows to the balcony were a nice addition, and let a lot of light into the apartment.

Just 50 metres walk from the weekly village markets, guests enjoy a swimming pool, BBQ facilities and a children’s playground at Matakana Motel. All accommodation offers a satellite flat-screen TV, a microwave and a fridge. Great managers of motel who made me feel veryw elcome even if it was a last minute booking. Great for exploring region

And the beds were so comfortable and the room so clean. Kitchenette with cooking capabilities helped me save a lot of money and it’s right next to a mall with lots of shopping. Plus a little nature area with a path to walk right outside.

We arrived well after the reception had closed yet Shehan the Motel Manager was gracious and accommodating. He even stayed on the phone with me until I secured the motel key he had left me in a lock box. He made it a 5star experience. Family of 5 who were flying out of Auckland the following morning so we only stayed one night.
