The rooms will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. Took our breakfast with us. It has only been built for 4 years and is new. The location was excellent a short walk to the main street. The Com is attached to the Pub the Commercial Hotel so could pop in for a drink or a meal if you liked. The building design was quite different with separate motel rooms(almost a tiny home) separated by empty garages on two levels Our room had lovely afternoon sun. Plenty of parking and space. Built in front of the big rock cliffs of Whakatane and the Tuis were very busy in the bush in the morning - lovely.

This motel is super clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a great location close to the river. The small kitchen is well equipped and we loved the small treats left for us. Only 30 mins to Ohope Beach and even less to the Rotorua lakes. Highly recommend.

I've been stayed here before, it was wonderful. This time the owner made the check in process even easier than before. And the facility is as good as before. The room is clean and quite. In my opinion, it just resides at the best location of Mt. Maunganui.

Motel is used for CEO's and CFO's of substantial size Whakatane business to stay, it says a lot. All was great, really good sleep, high level of comfort. We loved it.
