Situated on the beachfront in Tutukaka and boasting a garden, The Sands Motel has free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. We were in the area specifically to dive with a local dive company to Poor Knights Islands. This location was only 5 minutes away from the dive shop and had a beautiful small beach right in front of the property. The living area was very spacious, 2 bedrooms, everything was clean and functional. Good kitchen supplies and a large deck out front.

This was the most surprising find of our trip. Super clean with a breakfast that literally fed us all day! Trevor and Letia were exceptional hosts. You can even pick fresh tomatoes from the garden!
