The location was good, walking distance to the beach.
The room was big and had a little porch.

Everything was amazing. Super easy check in and check out. Room and bathroom were very very clean (thank you Guadalupe!) and the woman at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and friendly! 10/10 would definitely come back

Located just 10 minutes’ drive to the Cayucos State Beach, this motel provides free WiFi. The waterfront, the Embarcadero and Marina Street restaurants’ are just 5 minutes’ walk away.
A flat-screen TV is provided in each room. Fresh towels and linens are also provided. Each room is uniquely decorated at Sundown Inn of Morro Bay.
This is my second stay and my new go-to place. The owners are very sweet and it’s obvious they care about the comfort of their guests. They make a point to say hello throughout your stay without being intrusive. The place is clean, comfortable, and the location is unbeatable! Easy, short two block walk down to the water, shops, and restaurants. Parking is convenient. Prices are very reasonable.
Cayucos
This California hotel is located one block from the Cayucos State Beach. The hotel features free Wi-Fi in the guest rooms, barbecue facilities and a picnic area.
The rooms at the Cayucos Beach Inn contain a microwave and a refrigerator. Guests can use the in-room coffee makers or watch the cable TV.
Cozy affordable little inn without bells and whistles but excellent value for the money!
Cayucos
Set in Cayucos, within 200 metres of Morro Strand State Beach and 41 km of Paso Robles Event Center, The Pacific Motel offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo is 30 km from the motel and Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa is 31 km away. Great vibe. The front desk help was EXCEPTIONAL. Would recommend for a solo or group stay. Hope to visit again someday.
Upper State Street, Santa Barbara

At first glance, this is not a 2star property. Room was big and heating works well. Bath tub was nice. Beds comfortable for an uninterrupted sleep.
There were some renovation works in the nearby rooms, but we didn’t hear any noises.
Breakfast was simple and good.
Morro Bay
Situated a 5 minute walk from Morro Rock, this Spanish-Moorish designed Morro Bay hotel offers a luxurious indoor hot tub. Hearst Castle is 35 miles away.
Free Wi-Fi, a cable TV with extended movie channels, a microwave and a refrigerator are included in all guest rooms at Masterpiece Hotel. All rooms feature coffee-making facilities and the hotel hallways are uniquely decorated with reproductions of great artistic masterpieces.
Awesome hotel, nice corridors and rooms, jaccuzzi and laudry machines. Receptionist was VERY helpful and kind.
Pismo Beach

The room was warm there were several chairs and places to put things and there were good quality facilities

This is an old motel, just 20 rooms but the good thing is they have been totally refurbished and are stylishly great Ignore the old reviews and believe me they are great, basic but comfortable. I’m very fussy and don’t normally stay at motels but we were let down and needed a last minute room. Trust me these rooms are a gem
Pictures don't do this justice. The motel room was super clean and spacious and looked like it had recently been renovated. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Free parking (and we could stay longer than check in if required to visit the area). Comfy bed. Great access to the beach and pier.
On the road . We stayed there overnight during our coastal route . The location of the property is ideal . It is basically a motel but good one . Do have pool .serves breakfast , beds were comfortable .
The staff was amazing and very accommodating. The room was very clean and smelled good. The a/c worked very well, the force of the shower was perfect. The bed was huge and very soft, which is a good thing for those who like soft beds. The motel is a very short driving distance from the beach. FREE parking, cable and WIFI.
The fairly compact room was clean, tidy and easy to navigate, with an included table by the window that came in very handy. Shower looked recently remodeled, with nice hot water and decent pressure. Bed and pillows were more comfortable than expected for a motel-style property. The room included a microwave and fridge, and there was plenty of free parking in lot. Also, very good location right off freeway and close to downtown shopping.
Quiet, comfortable, clean and with good heating on a chilly night, but most of all a beautifully restored classic 1962 Motel 6, apparently the first ever. Lovely sea view from our room, free parking, close to some good eating places and to the zoo, and with kind and helpful reception staff. Didn't use the pool but it looked quiet and clean. Nice neighbourhood. Excellent value.
Motel in style, felt v safe and well maintained, free parking and a laundry facility were so useful to us.
