Mel Haven Motel exceeded my expectations on all accounts. The rooms were impeccably clean, very quiet and in a safe area. The bathroom was updated, the larger size dorm fridge was a huge plus and the fact that we had two rooms was amazing (one bedroom with queen bed and the main area with queen bed, small table with chairs, fridge and microwave). There were also bbq grills outside to use if we wanted. The closeness to all my planned activities in Manitou Springs were a bonus. The owner was very attentive and often asked if there was anything we needed done.
