The Motel is in a quiet location but close to the historic district. The owners and staff are ever so friendly and helpful. I understand that the rooms are all different. I was in the pin-up room, just great! A flashback into the 1950s. Even though the Motel seems to be from that time, it is in very good shape. I travel a lot, this is one of my favourites! Highly recommended.

This original Route 66 motel in Moriarty has been owned and operated by the same family since 1958. Its rooms feature vintage décor and furniture and have free Wi-Fi. For guest safety, the property offers curbside check-in upon request. Additional cleaning procedures have been implemented at the property. Like stepping back into the late 60s or early 70s, except the heat pump was quiet and nothing looked like it was an antique. The room was cute, the beds comfy. The owner was beyond welcoming and seemed to enjoy meeting people. While Bkfst was brown bagged there was coffee in the room, and the brown bag contained special pastries and fruit, which we made good use of. It was better than what we are used to getting at large chain hotels.
