Excellent service, staff were very helpful and kind. They have a shuttle service and it is great. Hotel is very beautiful, the view is breathtaking. Make sure you save some time to relax in front of the lake to appreciate the view. The food was also excellent.

Such a gorgeous place with the loveliest staff! We felt thoroughly pampered from head to toe during our stay. An incredible experience, please don’t miss out on the course dinner/breakfast! This place is absolutely lovely, Masa-san (owner) absolutely goes out of his way to help in any way he possibly can. Fantastic view of Mount Fuji from our well equipped room and just a wonderful experience, onsen is lovely and relaxing. Entire area is so beautiful. Trip finished with us checking out early in the morning as we anticipated having to walk up to the station (about 20 minutes from the hotel) around 8am. Despite Masa-san being in the middle of providing breakfast for other guests he insisted on driving us up so we'd time for a coffee. Oh, and getting up early to watch the sun rising on Mount Fuji will remain with me for the rest of my life.

Excellent Ryokan! Very beautiful, very clean, the staff is helpful and speaks well English. The diner and breakfast, Japanese style, were sumptuous. We took the room with the open-air bath withe te view of Mount Fuji and it was perfect. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who want the full ryokan experience.

The place the service the room everything was excellent , we were not able to include a breakfast on our booking but this hotel has a common space which is very helpful and very clean and it has kotatasu that is very warm , so we never had problem with our meal . Yoshi made pur stay really fun we sang while he plays guitar and he was really good , it was not a typical you stay in your room or drink in the bar hotel it was like we we're on our own home , we will definitely go back and we highly recommend this hotel and before i forgot on the day of our check put they packed us thier home grown baked sweet potato it's all organic and sweet and really delicious thank you yoshi and to your wife and family we will come back , we really loved our stay there .

+ The host is very generous. He picked me up from the train station and dropped me off on the last day. As I went alone with medium size luggage, this is very helpful , instead of rushing through the public bus (which is mostly crowded with tourists) + Very good facilities - I rented a bike (only normal one is available) to travel around from the ryokan to Kawaguchiko and the view is very stunning. + Onsen , the room with Mt. Fuji view are spacious. Most of the time, it's quiet and the guests are respectful. There are a few restaurants nearby but Familymart is around 15 -20 mins walk (note uphill on the way back)
