Onyado Nono Matsumoto Natural Hot Spring provides rooms in Matsumoto near Matsumoto Station and Matsumoto Castle. The room was just perfect for two. The staff were helpful and kind. The facilities were great as well as the food. The location was perfect in terms of the main train station and restaurants etc.

Walkable distance to all the main attractions. The hotel offers both public and private onsen (just 2000 yen charge). Umbrellas and all the necessities were provided!

Huge room with amazing river and mountain view. The onsite onsen was amazing. Complimentary clothes to wear onsite was an added bonus. Best sake I had in japan Free shuttle from village bus stop

Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. Great location, offered free shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko station, as well as buffet breakfast and dinner included (and drinks!) It was a lovely place to be, and in all honesty you could have a wonderful time here without setting foot outside the hotel! I liked that you could also book a private onsen if you didn’t feel comfortable going to the communal onsen.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Great place. Staff could speak English with no problems which was great for an international traveller. We had a beautiful view of the lake and regretted that we stayed only for one night. Very good Kaiseki dinner served in your room. The room even had a private sauna. Will definitely come back.

The traditional Japanese room that we stayed in was so comfortable, and the breakfast that we had was delicious
