Onyado Nono Matsumoto Natural Hot Spring provides rooms in Matsumoto near Matsumoto Station and Matsumoto Castle. This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at - from the hospitable welcome, the myriad of amenities (free welcome hot bev, udon noodles post-onsen, incredible rooftop onsen with great views, free ice cream and Yakult post-bath), cute and clean rooms, the ease of doing laundry within the women's locker change rooms etc. The buffet breakfast was super delicious and we just really enjoyed our time and experience here we wanted to stay in the whole time. HIGHLY recommend staying here if you're in Matsumoto.

The hosts were fluent in English, Chinese and Japanese, which made it possible for us to relax and feel our needs were understood. The place is beautifully outfitted, spotlessly clean, and very convenient.

La Vista Fujikawaguchiko offers 4-star accommodation with a sauna, hot tub and hot spring bath. This was the best hotel of the trip. We stayed in about 5 and this one took the cake. The views were spectacular, the breakfast had a wider variety and was delicious, the staff were incredibly helpful and kind and the scenery was so peaceful. It was a true vacation. The room was clean and they provided many free services as well. Hands down the best hotel I’ve been to so far. I will be returning again soon and will recommend this hotel to everyone I know who is travelling to Japan.

The hotel was wonderful from the very first moment. We arrived by car and found organized parking right in front of the hotel. The staff warmly welcomed us, took photos of us with the cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji, and then handled our luggage. Check-in was very clear and detailed, and our room had a stunning view of the lake and Fuji — absolutely beautiful! The location was excellent, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was both delicious and a memorable experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and even felt a bit sad that we didn’t have an extra day there. Highly recommended!

Exceptional property and well worth what we paid for it. Amazing views from the onsen (public and shared with other hotel guests, but both times we used it there was nobody there. Quite a private experience and it was great to watch the sun set!) The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious and the experience was one we’ll never forget. The staff picked us up at Kawaguchiko station and brought our bags straight to our room after check in. We enjoyed the tea and snack while soaking in the views.10/10 would visit again!

Located on a hilltop and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel serves French dinner with an advance reservation. Fuji mountain view exceptional and great services!
