The inn was so beautiful and many wonderful qualities. It's location is in the middle of a lively street full of shops and restaurants and a close (though uphill) walk to a temple. The in-room amenities were wonderful: whole coffee beans, a grinder, a coffee pot and cups, a separate teapot and teacups, pajamas, robes, and any necessary toiletries. The provided breakfast and dinner was delicious, traditional Japanese fare with English menus to explain the nightly courses (though I'd still suggest having a translator app). Last, but certainly not least: the baths were incredible. I appreciate that the private baths did not need a reservation and were all themed differently. So relaxing!! All my worries melted away here.

Very nice ryokan, with fantastic service and wonderful food. They really make you feel welcome! Highly recommended!

Located in Kasuga, 26 km from Takamatsu, Asan Kotonami features a terrace and views of the mountain. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The food is unbelievable! And the Onsen with a waterfall as backdrop was so beautiful and relaxing. Each window looks ouy over mountains with forests.

A 15-minute walk from JR Kotohira Station, Kotohira Kadan offers natural hot spring baths and spacious Japanese-style rooms, some with a private outdoor hot spring bath. This property is truly a gem. While I can comment only on the room we stayed in, room 503 which was a Japanese style room, I would rate it as a 10/10. The staff are all lovely. Every single staff member that crossed our path was very helpful, polite and friendly. Our room had a gorgeous 180 degree view over Kotohira. The sound of the river below was so nice. If I was to stay again, I would stay in a western style room simply because I found it difficult to get off the floor. I peeked in room 302 on my way out and think any western room on that side of that building with that view, could not be beat. We did not have our dinners at the hotel but did have breakfast every day for the four days we were there. The amount of food is enough to set you for the entire day. I enjoyed a vegetarian western breakfast while my husband enjoyed the Japanese breakfast. The food is delicious, the presentation is beautifully done and the service is exceptional. Such a hard working team. The staff were happy to take us to the train station whoever we wanted to go on a day trip. A day trip to the Iya valley and one to the Ritsurin gardens should not be missed.

Immaculately clean house with every need catered for. Great place to rest for a day after travelling for a few weeks. Host communicated well and was very considerate. The nearby Loki cave is well worth a look.

PACIFICO SURF HOUSE - Mountain se nachází v destinaci Shishikui a poskytuje kola zdarma, zahradu, terasu a ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a výhledem na hory. I loved the location, and the property was great. Although tiny, it had absolutely everything we needed, and it didn't feel cramped at all!

Yunaginoyu Hotel Hanajyukai se nachází v destinaci Takamacu. Liminal Air-core Takamatsu se nachází 3,7 km daleko a Sunport Fountain 3,7 km. A very welcoming staff. The view on the terrace and the roof-top onsen are such a great experience.
