Onyado Yuinosho býður upp á gufubað og ókeypis einkabílastæði og er í innan við 45 km fjarlægð frá Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village og 46 km frá Takayama-stöðinni. It's a perfect place. We've stayed in a four person room. It was spacious and confortable. The entire hotel is absolutely clean. The onsen is spotless. Absolutely recommended!!!

Oyado Koto No Yume er í aðeins 2 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Takayama-stöð og býður upp á litrík herbergi í japönskum stíl. - Service was impeccable! It was raining heavily when we arrived and the staff immediately put our shoes on shoe dryers - Breakfast was delicious - Onsen was hot and relaxing - We enjoyed trying on the yukatas, sake tastings, and all the little free activities in the hotel

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. Great price/value, super nice staff that gave good advice on where to go in the evening. The room was spacious and the futon was very comfortable.

Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. The breakfast & dinner are served in the restaurant with a magnificent view of the surrounding adding a superb experience to the dining. Food is excellent. The private onsen in the Annex is also excellent & we loved to bath in both the private & public onsens. In addition, for non-Japanese speaking tourists, the ability to talk in English is definitely the best among all the hotels/ resorts I have been in Japan.

I was also impressed by the attention to detail in the amenities provided, particularly the beauty kits. The skincare products were exceptional—something I wouldn't even expect from the finest 5-star hotels I’ve stayed in. Honestly, this place surpasses even the most luxurious hotels. It’s not just a stay; it’s an experience. A true retreat for the soul—I left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and completely in awe of the beauty of this place. Highly, highly recommended! If you’re seeking a perfect blend of elegance, relaxation, and nature, this is it.

Izu Kogen Ocean Resort, Ito Villa-TOKI- er staðsett í Ito, 30 km frá Shuzen-ji-hofinu og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, verönd og veitingastað. Spacious room with a lovely sea view, friendly staff and plenty of amenities. They offer use of the bathhouses which is well maintained and very comfortable.

33 km from Koibito Misaki Cape in Shimoda, 横川温泉湯殿ととのゆ provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath, hot tub and open-air bath. The location was perfect for getting away from the busy streets of Tokyo, though I highly recommend renting a (small!) car to get here, as it is tucked away from public trsnsportation routes. Our room was clean, surprisingly well equipped and comfortable. Service was spot on, communication with our host was easy and quick. We never saw any of the staff though, which made the quality of service just that much more impressive. We were the only guests staying here at the time, so we had all facilities to ourselves (an introvert's dream). There were plenty of instructions in english for all the general how-tos, check-in and check-out was easy using the machine. Prepare to face some bugs around the area, we had a few interesting encounters with moths by the entrance. The room itself was equipped with bugspray and deterrents, though we didn't need them as our room was perfectly wildlife free. The bug screen in the private onsen kept the bugs at bay, allowing us to bathe and sleep while enjoying the sounds and smells of the surrounding nature!
