The tent was spacious and well appointed; had pretty well everything you could ask for and expect from a luxury family-sized experience... better than most hotels that we've stayed at. The amazing thing was how clean the tent was - including all the cups/utensils and bedding. Just brilliant. The AC was quiet and worked well to warm the tent. The claw-foot bath on the decking was beautiful. The beds and bathroom was brilliant, and our 12/16yo actually had fun in the children's nook.

I loved the beautiful art/furnishings everywhere, how cozy the beds were, the soap/shampoo/conditioner provided; the delicious homemade marmalades at breakfast; the cookies/tea/coffee available upstairs; and the extremely clean and spacious room and bathroom. Best of all was meeting the owners, who were warm, knowledgeable, and friendly. I felt like I was staying with a close friend and didn’t want to leave!

    The beds were comfortable. Free wifi was fast and reliable. The motel is close to the cafes and restaurants of Castlemaine ( within walking distance if you feel like a stroll into town). Off street parking is spacious and secure. Shower was hot and water pressure strong. Neat and clean. Room was well heated by reverse cycle aircon and electric blankets. Microwave was handy .
