It's a unique historical setting. The bedroom balcony provides fabulous views over Melbourne and the surrounding area. My room felt spacious and was comfortable. The hotel is located a short distance from the train to the city centre and the tram is even closer. The staff were helpful and courteous.

The host is friendly and gave us clear instruction to get into the property and offer the secondary parking slot if the car is to big. I was driving mid-SUV and it is perfectly fit into the parking lot near the property. The location is quiet good if you need to reach airport easily in the early morning or arriving at late night. There is some foods you can grab by foot in 5 min before 10 pm even midnight. The room is cosy but almost everything is provided.

We really enjoyed being out of the city with the 96 tram over the road taking you to CBD and on to St Kilda if you like. Great little square with supermarket, bars, cinema, bakers, cafe etc etc
