The VIEW, wildlife, cosey, homely, romatic and teenagers retreet was a success too especially the WIFI. Easily in my top 3 of unique and boutique accommodation bookings. Grant's thoughtfulness and attention to detail was really lovely.

The property was listed as 5 star. Could not contact the property for 4 days prior to arrival. No reception, no television, very small kitchenette, no table, Lovely remote spot but definitely not 5 star.

Had a one-night stay in one of the Red Rattler Carriages for our wedding anniversary and we had an awesome time! When we first walked into the carriage, we just could't stop saying "how cool is this!", it was such a unique and memorable experience, and we are of the age where we remembered riding in these old trains. It was a 35 degree day so we really enjoyed a swim in the pool (had it to ourselves), then chilling in the air con of the carriage. We drove into Dungog (less than 10mins) for a couple of meals and kicked back in the carriage with the complimentary bottle of wine, cheese and crackers. The location is great, beaut scenery, peaceful, and there were so many personal/nostalgic touches in the decorating of the carriage. The bed was comfy, and the carriage is surprisingly big! Highly recommended!
