Approximately 30 minutes walk from the main tourist part of ghent, very easy to get a taxi from the apartment. Little convenience shop down the road. 5 minute walk to the train station. We couldn't access the free parking due to roadworks but the on street parking outside wasn't too expensive. The apartment was clean, tidy and had absolutely everything you could possibly need. We were directed to secure parking nearby. Inside the hotel was a beautiful historic building and very quiet. The chap on reception was very helpful and spoke good English (and other languages).
