Very friendly hosts. They have beautiful garden. Make sure to walk around their property. We were welcomed by a Toucan bird that was singing on one of the trees. We had the tastiest breakfast in Costa Rica. Room was quiet, spotless clean and bed was comfortable.

At first the people were nice and it was a big fenced yard which was good for my dogs. However, because I have two dogs they started freaking out because they only wanted a little dog staying there. It was quite a fight to get them to be allowed to stay there. I don't think that people should advertise pets okay if they aren't okay with that. The facilities were very nice aside from the fact that there's no air conditioning and it is very hot there.

The house was very cleaned and organized. We like the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are very confortable and even the sofa cama is nice too. They also have 2 chairs that were very useful to us because my mom has issues with moving her leg due a health condition and she truly loved those chairs, we will sit and watch Netflix in the TV. We also like that they have camaras around the house as it makes you feel more secure. The host were very nice and friendly, they even recommend us a beautiful water fall that is very close from the property. Bagaces downtown has everything, nice and affordable restaurants as well as pharmacies and stores everywhere.

Rio Perdido is located just a 45-minute drive from Daniel Oduber International Airport and features 11 mi of on-site hiking trails and a thermal river with hot-spring pools.

Joe and Joanne were exceptional hosts! They cooked us an outstanding dinner. The property was in the middle of nowhere and feeling like we were on top of the world all at the same time! The sunset and the stars were spectacular.

Great location, nice room, very helpful staff. Great place to stay when in Guayabo.
