my main beef with the property is the cumbersome check in procedure. after long day cycling the phone number given to us and one listed on door wasn’t answered. eventually a bone too friendly woman let us in. there was no secure parking for our bikes. we were shown a bike rack deep in weeds. then had to walk around house to different door to get to room. The room is small with some unnecessary decorations that were in the way of nightstand. the bed was comfortable enough. The printed motive sheets or anything color other than white makes me suspicious of cleanliness.

Such a comfortable, restful, beautifully decorated room, with modern comforts and character. The breakfast each morning was lavish with specialty breads, baked goods, fruit, salmon, eggs; and hand crafted specialty coffees. Our hosts were welcoming with great recommendations for day trips and local restaurants. We spent our last morning exploring the extensive gardens.

Very welcoming place. The host greeted us when we arrived to give us the key. The beds were fine. There is a full working kitchen if you want to cook, or a kettle if all you want is tea or coffee. If our travels ever bring us back to this part of Germany, we will definitely stay here again.
