#1 Marcela the host!!!! She went above and beyond to take care of us complete with taking our laundry into town to get it done FAST, took us to waterfalls, birding, and to the Friday night food stalls in town for great food from her friend, Millie (who owns Cascada La Escondida- a must visit).

Amazing location with a stunning garden and truly breathtaking views. Rodrigo was a great host with superb local knowledge. There's an extremely friendly dog, a cat that loves talking and will insist on walking with you if you decide to check out the waterfall just a short (and beautiful) walk from the Casa. You'll be hard-pressed to find another place where you can see this many hummingbirds. We didn't have a car but transport wasn't a problem at all with local buses, taxis or Rodrigo's car.
