La Pomme Verte is a beautiful little gîte in a peaceful rural setting at a very reasonable price. Lovingly furnished and kept spotlessly clean. I especially appreciated the extremely well-equipped kitchen (induction hob, dishwasher, even a Crêpe- and a Raclette-maker!) You also get to enjoy the hosts’ own lovely garden. There are local attractions including neighbouring Le Bec Hellouin, a picturesque little village with an Abbey of great historical importance, and Château Harcourt with its large arboretum (the annual Medieval festival was great fun) Nearby Brionne is very convenient for all your shopping needs. This is genuine rural Normandy, off the beaten track, yet only 1-2 hours drive from many major tourist sites (Rouen, Giverny, Etretat, Honfleur, Bayeux, etc. etc.) We greatly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for your hospitality, Danièle and Hervé, it was a pleasure to meet you and we hope to be back someday.

A lovely, traditionally furnished Gite. It was extremely comfortable, located in a beautiful village with a wonderful view of the Abbey. The kitchen was well stocked and lacked nothing save for an oven. The television offered Netflix which was an added bonus. Large living and dining area which was delightfully cool in the hot weather. There are a few cafes and restaurants within a couple of mins walk. I highly recommend this cottage for a long or short stay. I was a solo traveller but this is perfect for families.

Charming old building. Roomy and warm with beautiful linen. The view is stunning of the abbey. The owner was very attentive. We had a lovely breakfast. The location was pretty special. The landscape when driving in and out of town was a joy.

Location and the small house are perfect. If you like nature and place without noises this is perfect place. House is clean, beds are very comfortable and there is a nice area outside where you can chill. We enjoyed our stay!
