When you say Petite chateaux, first of all it Annemieke and Chris. They made everything to make our stay pleasant. The chateaux itself is well kept, good sized and modern equipment. The premises are very nice. The garden and the sitting area outside are nice. The dinners were so tasty (Chris the cook) Less than 40 km. to Épernay.

Everything was perfect! Jean Luc welcomed us at the door. After a train ride and sweaty walk from the train station, Jean Luc’s warmth and graciousness immediately made us feel welcome. He shared a map with walking directions to get to the main attractions in town and then guided us to our “apartment.” The room (Les Tulipes) was at the top of the stairs. My concern the room wouldn’t be cold enough was swept away when Jean Luc opened the door and crisp, cold air from the AC unit made our sweaty walk a distant memory. The room was sparkling clean, newly updated, and bright. Shower pressure was incredible & washing machine was a fantastic perk. Bed in the loft area was softer than most hotel beds but we slept so well. Fridge was stocked with champagne and water for purchase. Excellent guides for local champagne visits and restaurants helped get us acclimated and well informed. The garden is beyond gorgeous. Champagne and charcuterie in the gazebo surrounded by flowers, tall grasses, coy pond, doves, and fruit trees made it feel like an escape. Our champagne country oasis. Daily breakfast was exceptional. Lively music in the kitchen guided us to the patio overlooking the garden. Jean Luc would plate croissant, pain au chocolat, coffee, hard boiled eggs, toasts, and homemade mirabelle jam from their mirabelle tree. A selection of cheeses, meats, yogurts, and fruits were on a side board. It was simple, delicious, and the perfect start to a day of champagne tours and tastings.

    The character of the property was wonderful. It was peaceful and tranquil. The dinner was exceptional. The champagne house across the street was wonderful. The lady there shared wonderful stories with us about the history of the town and the château. The parking was very convenient. The staff was great. This is our 4th visit and we will return again.

    Historical, but well renovated, charming home, with lovely quiet gardens for our dog to run around in after a days drive. Great kitchen and chef at the Orangerie restaurant. Friendly staff and handy safe parking.

    Beautiful building with loads of parking. Rooms were lovely and clean and staff were excellent. Evening meal in the restaurant was fantastic. Would definately stay again.
