Our host was a true gentleman, and helped us to understand the ins and outs of this unique accomodation. We enjoyed the quiet village, and the opportunity to prepare our own repast in our own time. This part of the world seems a bit isolated, so the gite is a gem to discover. We were very pleased to wander the grounds beside the small river and find a calm respite before the call of the road lured us on again.

I was on a motorcycle trip in the area and this hotel is perfectly suited as a 'basecamp'. So it's not the Hilton? That's just perfect because that was not was I was looking for. Very, very friendly staff and great breakfast that gives you a good start before you go out riding.

We were having phone data connection issues and didn't get the instructions on how to enter the property (they were sent, but we couldn't retrieve them). The hosts happened to be at the property and saved our necks by showing us how to get the keys. They were exceptionally helpful.
