The host was super reactive, responded to questions and was friendly. The instructions were super clear, no problems at all with finding the place. Parking is secured, so is the building. 15 minute walk from the office of tourism. The room was clean. There were towels, shower gel and bars of soap for us to use, plus a comb still wrapped in plastic. Simple, modern, good lighting, comfortably big bed, airconditioned, the kitchen corner is complete. Beside had functioning electricity socket and 2 USB sockets. Practical layout. Big shower space, some of the water dripped out when showering but it's nothing a towel couldn't fix. The mirror was wide, toilet clean, the floor was spotless. Washing machine used and worked very well, so did the dishwasher. The coffee machine was A+++++. ❤️

Perfect location, clean and traditional. Christine is a lovely host and explained areas surrounding the hotel providing us with a map. Breakfast was plentiful and a reasonable price. We would definitely stay again if visiting Tours.

    Great location in the centre of town. Interesting apartment which was very clean. The communications from the host were excellent and very responsive. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a city centre break in Tours. Parking has to be paid for but the nearby underground parking is very affordable. On street parking is potentially expensive so best to avoid.

    Hotel Colbert was extremely well-situated, and we found parking nearby, although this could have been a problem (there was much free parking around, but very few free places). The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was large and comfortable, and unusually had a safe. Everything was very clean.
