perfectly located for scenery, wildlife, peace, quiet and access to the North Coast of Scotland attractions. The cottage itself was perfect, like a home from home. Everything you needed was provided, it was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Hosts are lovely and we chatted to them several times when out and about as they run the farm nearby. They were very keen that we had everything we needed for a super holiday.

Detta is a wonder! She ( and tradespeople) lovingly restored a Mansion built in the Highlands in 1854. Ultra clean and well kept, extremely spacious room, modern bathroom and bed. Small but very well equipped kitchen, a must as its a good drive to food in Thurso. Bring a nice bottle of wine and something microwavable /bakeable, or cook from scratch as we did. Gorgeously kept, extensive gardens! Fabulous locations for short or extensive walking in our 3 days here.

We can't say enough about this incredible property. The views are breathtaking. The space had absolutely everything you might need and was spotless, fresh, comfortable, welcoming, and simply incredible. Thoughtful touches throughout from binoculars, treats, tea, festive lighting...Denise thought of everything. She was a welcoming and thoughtful hostess and we never wanted to leave. Will definitely return, thank you.

Delitious food and breakfast with a lot of choice, very quiet, lovely interior, friendly owners and their dog :D, close to the Lighthouse with a beautiful view, very nice Garden also available for Guest, very comfortable bed, nice warm covers, clean cosy room and bathroom. Lovely location on the Cliff, had even stairs down to the water. It was just perfect.

Dinner was fantastic. Zack was excellent helping us throughout the process of checking in, and then serving us at dinner. He is very personable, and knowledgeable about the hotel and area history, taking time to answer all questions, give details, without seeming rushed. The location was amazingly beautiful and on our route. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained, and the beds were quite comfortable. The restaurant was very good, both dinner and breakfast were delicious.
