I was looking for a place to stay with a hot tub near hiking trails and this place did not disappoint. Though small, it still had plenty of space, so I never felt cramped, and the bed was quite comfy for me. There was wireless charging as well as USB ports and outlets, so we had plenty of options to charge our electronics and our internet connection was great. The hot tub was set up in advance, so we could just head out and use it whenever we wanted without worrying about settings. Although there isn't food available nearby, there were plenty of places in the area available for delivery through Just Eat, so we had a variety of food we could order and pick up at the gate. Would love to stay here again.

We visited Peggyslea Farm immediately after arriving from the airport, and it was the perfect start to our trip. The house is extremely clean, the room is spacious, and the bathroom is amazing .. it had everything we needed. The view is stunning, peaceful, and exactly what we hoped for. The most precious part of our stay was Aneeth and her family. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive, and they made us feel so welcome and cared for. The walk around the farm and into the woods was beyond words ,peaceful, safe, and beautiful. This place is highly recommended, especially for girls and solo travellers, as it feels very safe. Breakfast was homemade so delicious. Peggyslea Farm is about 40 minutes outside Edinburgh and absolutely worth the trip for anyone looking for a peaceful and special stay in nature. Tip: If you’re coming from the airport, take an Uber … it’s super convenient.

The staff were very friendly. Reception staff stayed open a little as we were running late for check in. This was much appreciated. Cute room with lovely colours and a bath and good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was large and was great for both someone who loves haggis and black pudding and also a pescatarian or vegetarian.

The rooms were in a separate building from the bar/restaurant so were quiet. Nice room with king size bed with bath & shower. Nice finishing touches like robes, toiletries & irn bru & tunnocks caramel wafers. Also umbrellas at the entrance for guest use (ideal when it rained during most of our visit). Bed was really comfy & room clean. Staff really friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
