Room was spacious, bed was really comfy. Evening meal was excellent, staff very friendly. Breakfast was really superb, easy parking and lovely location. Good value too. I shall definitely stay again. (Oh yes, plenty of well placed plug sockets in the room!)

The establishment was quite small - only three rooms - but that only adds to the charm. The rooms are clean, charming, and equipped with everything you might need, with the exception of a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was very clean. The owner was an absolute dream. She was nice and very helpful. I had the vegetarian breakfast and it was delicious. There is a bus stop two minutes away which is very convenient if you plan to ride the bus into the city center. The fare for a single trip on the bus, since it is a Lothian country bus, is £3 and you must have exact change to buy a ticket on the bus.

    We had a stylish spacious room over an old tavern (which they say Robert Louis Stevenson — the Treasure Island author — stayed in) with a nice little garden and own parking lot. It was equipped with everything we could wish for. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the maze of corridors is charming. Having dinner just downstairs is very convenient.

    New, with a large parking lot, very comfortable. Buffet breakfast is good at a quite reasonable price, with the option to pay for cooked options. Dinner is also good quality. Location was fantastic as we had to drive to St Andrews the next day. Also fantastic if you are driving to the airport... Large Tesco just 1 min walking... Just think if this location is what you need.

    A great choice to stay when in Edinburgh! Close to the gorgeous Queensferry area and a short drive/bus ride to town without the chaos of Edinburgh City in the heart of summer. Very comfortable and clean rooms, free parking and close to Tesco for groceries!

    Very cosy ,comfortable place to stay.Good off street parking for our combi vehicle.Nice,helpful staff and fab breakfast in the morning.Next time we will make more use of the restaurant during the daytimes of our stay.Had some food out with the haws inn and then wished we had used you guys before going out exploring.Visited as a party of four family members are we will be back soon.regards Ian K
