Had an amazing stay! Everyone was really kind and it exceeded all our expectations. The beach is really close, and the area is calm. The aquarium and the dinosaur park is close, which makes the property perfect for families with small kids as well.

Tidy and felt like home. We stayed only one night before our flight to Athens, it was close to the Knossos palace and had small town vibes that we loved. Before leaving, we were able to briefly watch the sunrise while eating figs that the host left in the fridge for us.

The apartment is exactly as seen in the photos. It is located in an extremely quiet area, close to a school and except for the hours when parents pick up their children, there is hardly anyone passing on the street in front of the property. Especially at night. In relation to privacy, I have to say that at the time we stayed there, it was just us in our wing almost all the time. The biggest advantage of the place though is its spotless cleanliness. During our almost two-week stay, Christy, who probably also owns the property, changed our sheets and towels and cleaned the bathroom every other day. So when we were coming back from a beach or a walk, we were pleasantly surprised by the treatment. Last but not least, I must mention that on the evening of our check-in, she was waiting for us outside the building to give us the keys and three bottles of water, wine and beer were left in the fridge as a compliment. Otherwise the apartment has everything we needed - working washing machine and laundry detergent, fridge, iron, air conditioning in every room, dining table, stove, kitchenette, balcony and parking. A plus is the relatively close and nice restaurant with local cuisine, and in a 15 min walk (or a few minutes drive) is the village where there are more restaurants, a hypermarket, a pharmacy and a beach. To fully enjoy the island itself, however, you must rent a car. Personally, as someone who researches ancient cultures, the location of the place was very convenient for me because it is located between the archaeological sites of Knossos, Malia and Phaestos, as well as the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion. Once again a big thank you to Christy for everything.

    The hospitality provided by the hostess was immaculate. Always ready to help and doing so with a lot of passion. The rooms were beautifully designed, they were always clean and fully stocked with all the things that you need. The location is very accessible to nearby stores, beaches and restaurants. There was free parking which made it very accessible. The view was beautiful with the sounds and view of the sea. Truly a palace as the name dictates. Will be coming here again.

    Beautiful room with great cool plunge pool (only 3 rooms have small pools, no common area pool, very helpful staff. Pretty sea view (but it’s beyond the parking lot and across the road - not waterfront.)

    The place is very clean, rooms are spacious, luminous, well designed and beautifully furnished. The terrace is very big, with very comfortable sunbeds. Free parking spot was also very appreciated. The reception staff is very kind and helpful.

    Fantastic little private oasis a few minutes walk from the water. Quiet area, sleeps comfortably, functional, exceptionally clean, easy parking, hosts incredibly helpful and friendly. Was a perfect spot for heading to day trips across the island with our rented car.
