Afsal is such an attentive, perfect, helpful and sensitive host, he can give you great tips for your stay and travels. The place is very friendly, very clean, there is such attention to details, it makes you feel at home. It's a perfect backpacker's place where excellent English is spoken. And if you need a yogamat, there are some on the rooftop, where you can also practice.

I can’t say enough about this stay and the service. The manager, Lawrence, is an outstanding host and goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. After we were all checked in and settled, Lawrence gave us a detailed WhatsApp message info about all the activities around the area. He also made sure we were driven to and picked up from where ever we needed to go for ZERO COST. The owner was actually the one driving us and him and his family were extremely kind. They fed us a good South Indian breakfast. This was also the quietest night of sleep we’ve had in India!

The way the hosts called us before we reached and talked with our driver so that we don't face any language barrier. On reaching, we found out we had booked the wrong kind of room. But the owners happily offered us another room for no extra charges. The complimentary breakfast was a super treat. Such a beautiful, healthy and delicious combination of traditional and english breakfast, I along with my friends are totally awed at the experience.

This is an excellent homestay. George is a super host, greeted us with coffee and biscuits and was very helpful throughout. The room is a great size and very comfortable and we slept really well there. The balcony is a nice bonus. The food is excellent, we had dinner there as well and I highly recommend doing that. Overall one of our best stays and I thoroughly recommend it.

The stay was in a prime location, with 2 beautiful rooms in a house that we had separate access to. The hosts were polite, and accommodating and they provided us with local Kerala special dishes on our request. Our stay was quite smooth with all the facilities.

I loved everything! To start with, the property manager, Prabhu, is superb and genuinely nice! He and Hari gave us great recommendations. The property and rooms are extremely well kept! Our cottage was 10/10 clean, which is very important amidst pandemic. The views are indescribable. We loved every and each staff members’ service. Without a doubt, I recommend this property!!! I wished we had stayed here longer. LOVED this resort and everything about it!

    Great hotel, Friendly staff, nice food and good coffee. They really made an effort to give a Western look. Beds were very comfortable, like the shower. Nice location: only a 10 minute walk to the parking lot, where the busses to Periyar park start. A lot of shops in the street and an ATM across.

Very close to interesing must see locations such as periyar national park, elephant junction, rose park, spice garden, tea factory etc. The host can arrange visits to these places upon request and ensures your stay is comfortable with home made food which is simply delicious.

    The place is very neatly maintained, an authentic kerala style cottage to stay with family. Weather wss very good and the room was very well accessible near the boat house, elephant camp and main town. Very spacious car parking and delicious break fast provided here. I recommend any small, big family to visit and stay here as the rooms are very spacious, neatly maintained and safe for kids too.
