This place was perfect for our stay in Iceland! We used it as our base as we toured the southern coast for a few days. It was so warm and inviting; it was very clean and modern. The windows looking out from the little sitting area were huge so we could see a lot from inside. We didn't really use the kitchenette but it was very well equipped. The area is quiet, about a ten minute drive from Vík, but still perfectly situated because you're out in the country but not isolated. There were also other guests in the other cottages, but it was like we were there by ourselves. Added bonus: we could see the Northern Lights just over the mountain behind the cottages. It was an amazing place to stay!

We sat on the bed to see the northern light even the Kp index was only 3.The staff helped to pack the breakfast because we leaved at 7:00.
