Had the pleasure of staying here for a week and it was truly so amazing! The house is beautiful and well equipped with everything you need, including AC which was amazing during the summer. The host is absolutely wonderful and so sweet, she also accommodated our super late check in time. The location is perfect, only a 15 minute walk to the train station. The rooms are also extremely clean. If I ever come back, I will absolutely be staying here!

The apartment was conveniently located close to all I needed and wanted to do. The building is a beautifully renovated preserving the gorgeous historical features, yet will all modern conveniences, clean, spacious and beautifully furnished. Very comfortable mattress and a generous supply of nice pillows and soft quality towels. The Lavazza espresso machine and provided coffee was tops! I really felt like a queen in this lovely apartment. One of the items that was very important to me was safe parking for my car. I hit the jackpot. I not only had a gated parking spot in the beautiful courtyard, I could view my car from the large terrace. The building is nestled back and amazingly quiet even though it is in a very central location. But honestly the thing that I treasure the most is the warmth, kindness and generosity of the host, Enrico. He greeted me at my arrival, helped me with my bags, brought very special pastries for me the following morning. He helped me navigate and plan my outing, providing ferry schedule and excellent restaurant tips. Enrico’s recommendations for experiencing this amazing area were unique, exciting… the type of information only a true local would be able to provide. I cannot wait to return. I am so grateful I selected Villa Maya. Beyond perfect. Thank you Enrico!

A beautiful very large apartment with a large bedroom and a large living area with a very large terrace. Windows covered 3 of the walls . From the terrace you can see the Strait of Messina and the coast of Sicily. Close to a large Supermarket for groceries, close to the train station, restaurants and close to the ferry docks. Fantastic in every way !!

Villa Princi is a villa which may have formerly belonged (and still does) to a noble family in southern Italy. We were upgraded to a suite and our jaws dropped from the beautiful bathroom and breathtaking view of the sea between Villa San Giovanni and Messina. We requested and the proprietor made 2 delicious omlettes for us. We felt that the proprietor has under-valued her excellent villa and could have charged more but we're not complaining !

the host was magnificent. we arrived at the train station and there were no taxis anywhere. I texted the hotel and he came to get us. he also took us back to the station when we left. the breakfast trolley was excellent. our private patio with plants and a sea view was perfect. bathroom was clean and looked brand new. the room was small but decorated so nice. it was like staying in someone’s home.

    Great fruit and veg shop opposite and supermarket around the corner. Breakfast was arranged over what's app and arrived to our room as planned - great way to do it - thank you. We were able to bring the bike into the apartment for secure parking. Check in/arrival was really easy/efficient.

    Great location for catching the ferry to Messina and wonderful views across the strait. Very welcoming host, comfortable room and good facilities. Easy walk to local pizzerias and restaurants. Plenty of free car parking on the road outside. Breakfast delivered to the room.
