Very big rooms comfortable. The room is well equipped for a long stay with a refrigerator, washing machine, toaster oven, hot water kettle, and more. The owner is amazing, very friendly, and very service oriented . We could not find available taxi so his wife took us in their own car. I highly recommend them and the place.

Having the run of an entire traditional Japanese house was marvelous. The house was kept very clean and had a full kitchen to cook meals (as well as a washer). The inner courtyard was a bonus. The house is located very conveniently to many of the art attractions in Naoshima. Lisa was easy to communicate with and provided lightning fast answers to our questions. Highly recommend!

Ken-san greeted me to help carry my bags. Upon check-in he brought me tea and I enjoyed the view of the sea from the common space/ kitchen area. The place is beautifully rustic and immaculately clean. I could have spent days just starting at the sea. And the food…. Wow. Everything from the garden or the sea. A delicious craft beer which felt well deserved after a walk to the lighthouse. And finally an amazing and very hot sauna before bed. This was more than just a night’s stay- it was an inspiration on how to live in harmony with nature. I didn’t want to leave and hope to come back.
