The communal breakfast was wonderful. We had locally made honey on homemade pancakes, breakfast sausages, and locally sourced boar meatballs!! They suggested a close-by swimming location near a small pizzeria. The pizza was freshly made, topped with basil grown right outside their herb garden. My daughter loved it all. She especially liked the drink which was like a lemonade but used plum. We enjoyed connecting with locals at the swimming hole and around town. Claire and Shiro's suggestions were appropriate for our interests and our small family.

I had an amazing stay at this house! The location is absolutely perfect, especially for green tea lovers. There are fantastic tea shops and beautiful tea plantations nearby, making it a dream spot for anyone who appreciates high-quality Japanese tea. The place itself was clean, cozy, and had a wonderful atmosphere. One of the best parts was how close it is to Okuōikojō Station, which made exploring the area incredibly convenient. The host was friendly, communicative, and gave great recommendations on where to find the best tea experiences. If you're looking for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature and tea culture, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

B&B Itadaki is located north of Shizuoka city, in the peaceful countryside. The surroundings are gorgeous, and the house itself is amazing. We loved how stylish and clean everything was, and the outdoor hot tub was a huge hit with my family. We all slept well on the comfortable beds and futons, and breakfast was a culinary delight. We’d love to stay here again!

We had the most relaxing portions of our 6 week travel in Japan. The house is located in the middle of tea fields with beautiful surroundings. It is truly home away from home. The host is so incredibly hospitable. She helped us plan activities around the area, made train ticket reservations, booked taxis, drove us to and from train stations and attractions, and even took us grocery shopping and gave us rice and potatoes and picked lettuce from her garden for our dinner. Just incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. The kitchen is well stocked. We were able to cook up some nice dinners and felt really at home. We also really enjoyed the activities around the area. We went to a lovely tea museum, picked strawberries, walked on a 100-year-old foot bridge, and took a scenic locomotive. All great fun and relaxing in a rural setting.
