The breakfast was the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. Freshly prepared, lots of variety, and super delicious. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The private onsen was super nice. The staff was warm and friendly! The dinner at the nearby Japanese restaurant (booked through the hotel) was also delicious!

Great location near Chojibaru visitor information and trailheads from Tadewara wetlands and not far from Makinoto pass recommend stay 2 nights to do high and low hike. Room was lovely, western style room. Bath was great. Meals beautiful.

We absolutely loved everything about this peaceful ryokan—the beautiful grounds, the delicious Kaiseki meals, the relaxing onsens (both private and public), the clean and comfortable room, and the incredibly kind staff.
