We had a wonderful time in Matsuzaki! The guesthouse was lovely and so was our host and the other guests. I would definitely recommend staying here. We enjoyed sharing dinner around the fire in the evenings and received excellent recommendations on what to see and do. We also enjoyed riding the bikes into town.

Nice peaceful local hotel + public onsen. Almost no tourist at all, mostly senior citizens came here to enjoy onsen. Outside is windy as hell so outdoor onsen isn't available for us, but indoors are perfectly fine too. There's no shower room in the room, but everyone here came for onsen, so there's no need for that. Pleanty of room space and a little balcony to enjoy the view. They also have a space for our bike parking too!

One of the best places we stayed. We enjoyed every moment, you can see that a lot of thought was put into every detail. We especially liked the bathtub on the balcony and the size of the room and the buffet. Really hope to come back
