Wonderfully charming mountain cottage. The cottage itself has everything a visitor needs — comfortable futons, good shower and bathroom, kitchen and, most importantly, a deck that looks out across the mountains to the sea. We visited on a hot August day, but the cottage enjoyed a fresh breeze that immediately cooled us off. I would highly recommend the cottage.

We stayed here after the Kumano kodo. This place has the most amazing amenities! There is a private Onsen, washer and dryer, kitchen, and bikes! It is a 3 min walk to a bus stop. The owner who let us in is so kind and helpful.

It was spacious, clean and thoughtfully decorated. Lots of facilities as well (including a washing machine! Though we didn’t end up using it.) Owner was incredibly kind and friendly. Would love to stay again.

100 year old huge traditional Japanese house with a large Japanese garden and equipped with all you're going to need for a comfortable stay, such as a kitchen, food stock, bath amenities etc. The small beach at just a 3-4 minute walk from the house had clean, calm, and clear waters and felt almost like a private beach - perfect for a group of friends/family with kids to spend some relaxing time. Very attractive price point, especially suitable for large group of friends.

    Traditional Japanese style apartment. I really like pulling out the mattress and sleep on the floor, I slept very well in this room. The host is very responsive when we had questions about the parking and how to lock the door. The kitichen is equipped with all the utensils you need to make tee and stuff. It is very value for money.

    The house itself is big, has a nice common space with the kotatsu and big kitchen. Nice clean bathroom and washing/drying machine. The city is very walkable and has stuff around it. We actually decided to extend from 1 night to 2. They offered a lot of towels and had a covered parking spot.

    I don't know if I indicate that the information here is appropriate. There is no need to get a key to open the door. The name of the person who booked the room is written on the room door. I am not worried about this. It means this is a safe community. The room is large, suitable for a family of 4-6 people, and the room is fully equipped with everything you need. The only thing you need is to drive there, there is a parking space in every room
