This place is great! The mountain road leading to it is only a few minutes, and then you are transported to a beautiful sanctuary. It was perfect. Right in front of the Aso submersible bridge on Niyodo river. The house is big, clean and comfortable. Christophe was very responsive and friendly. We all loved our stay.

Modern facility. Very close to the train station. Kei, the man who greeted me, was very nice, and speaks excellent English. He also explained the history of the shrine to me. This is a great affordable option near Kochi, and it is easy to take the train in.

Mayuko was the most wonderful and friendly host. The building is an old converted schoolhouse and such an interesting and authentic place to stay nestled in the hills of Shikoku. A great place for an escape if you’re looking for some serenity. We are looking forward to coming back one day.

Hotel is on a hill overlooking a river. Looks almost like a castle in Europe. I think all the rooms face the river; and the views are great from room balconies. Breakfast buffet is very good, with Japanese and Western food selections.
