I was very happy staying at the Lake Cabin. Everything was excellent. Waking up early to the sounds of birds, sitting on the balcony to watch the sunrise, eating breakfast, and watching fishermen on the lake. Perfect!!! I felt relaxed and enjoyed every minute.

Best place to stay in Polonnaruwa according to me. The house is in the nature and very close to the temples. We had great discussions about the country and got to learn more about Sri Lankan. Our host made us an amazing rice and curry and we went on a night walk to see wild animals. We have been able to rent great bikes to visite the temples. I really recommend!

Our stay at Sunrise Lake Resort in Polonnaruwa was truly unforgettable. The location is absolutely beautiful, right by the peaceful lake with stunning sunrise and sunset views. The cabanas are new, clean, and very comfortable, offering everything needed for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, perfect for anyone looking to unwind. The staff is incredibly kind, friendly and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. They helped us arrange a wonderful lake safari and served delicious homemade meals made with fresh local ingredients. The breakfast was simple but full of flavor, and every meal felt special. The location is convenient, just a short ride to the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa and other attractions. Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations. We left with great memories and would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Polonnaruwa! 🌅🐘✨

I was traveling alone and this stay was absolutely incredible. The hosts provided amazing service and genuine care. They arranged a safari for me at a better price than usual agencies, picked me up directly from the accommodation, and came along as company so I wouldn’t feel alone and had someone to share the experience with. They also prepared a delicious lunch and dinner for me so I didn’t have to go out alone. Their kindness and thoughtfulness were truly heartwarming. The place has a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere – I felt right at home. Highly recommended, especially for solo travelers!
