A truly magical place, we had the most amazing stay. A unique small boutique hotel up in the mountains with stunning views, wonderful staff and delicious food. The manager, Eranda is so sincere and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. He took us on a walk to the waterfall in the grounds and we had a very informative talk about nature. Such a lovely man. I can't recommend Capoe House enough, it's the nicest place we have ever stayed.

Things I liked: - Incredible view - Great wifi - Incredible interior - Incredible food (and affordable) - amazing staff As a foreign traveler this stay was incredible. The wifi was strong enough for me to hold a couple video calls and the food was chicken kottu was delicious. Chathura was extremely helpful with giving advice for activities to do nearby and he even got me a box of tea as a gift before leaving. This seems to be a newer hotel in the area and I expect in years to come it will become a very popular stay

The view was amazing, the house was great, spacious and had the same amazing clear view. The food was excellent and served beautifully. The staff was helpful and organized for us little trip to the 2nd highest waterfall which we can strongly recommend.

This is a small hotel with 6 rooms. But the rooms are very big than 5 star hotels. It's a family business. Very good friendly staff and home made food. Price is very reasonable. The rooms charges are very reasonable. I recommend for enyone going to haputhale stay here.

This place exceeded our expectations! We were so happy about the cleanliness and the attention to detail. There was furniture to place our bags on, and the shower had a door!! When you enter the main area it is spacious and cosy with plenty of books to read and a couch. Breakfast was good, at the tables at whatever time you want. It was very quiet and the landscape was beautiful with a stunning garden. There was an awesome short cut by foot to the main road and town. It felt overall very established and it had obviously seen very well done recent renovations.

We loved our stay at the Hill Safari. The views were spectacular, the staff made us feel very comfortable and welcome and the room was everything we needed. The food was also delicious and they gave us many new year treats to try. They recommended some great walking routes, talking you through the route with a hand drawn map!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Haputale. The location is perfect with beautiful views of the hills, and it is very peaceful — an ideal place to relax. The couple were extremely welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The dinner 😋😋😋 as amazing one of the best I had. Hot water was great after the hike . They woke up at 5 am gave me tea and small breakfast and when I came back they gave hot tea and the butter and toast thingy . Yumm Accommodation are basic the view on patio is great . I arrived there and just enjoyed resting . Ahh and only 36 min drive to the park And I believe the are about couple Minutes drive from the train station
