Simple but very clean and cosy. Good value for money. Nice location - very quiet as it is a bit further away from the main road, but at the same time close to a local convenience store, the town's church, a pond and a river, etc.

It is a gem in a middle of nowhere. The building once was a school. The host was super friendly and gave us a tour around. She explained the history and talked about the village community. The rooms are newly refurbished classes. Everything is clean and looking good. You can get a breakfast at local school cafeteria.

The location was peaceful and scenic, with a beautiful lake and even a rowboat to take out. In the morning, a swan family joined us while we enjoyed coffee on the pier — magical! The surroundings were perfect for relaxing and watching the sunset. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and stylish, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything from an espresso machine to a BBQ. The hot tub (for a small extra fee) was the cherry on top. Definitely worth the trip and the price!

We stayed in Rest Green for almost a week in September and enjoyed it to the fullest. Such a cozy place in a peaceful environment with a view on a river. We were lucky to have the whole area to ourselves, waking up with the sunrise, going for a walk to the nearby village. (Just to take some pictures and enjoy the sun). We also booked a canoe. They brought us to one spot by car and then we ended up right next to our accommodation in the next 3-4 hours, the environment was beautiful, we canoed through different villages and diverse environment. We enjoyed swimming in the river or just simply looking at it while reading a book and sitting/lying down in a hammock that was hanging right next to our place. The kitchen was well-equipped, a bit tougher to wash the dishes in the bathroom, but manageable! The fridge was a bit too small for a longer stay - if you are planning to come for a longer time, it's better to plan meals that don't require to stay in the fridge. (Or if you have a car it's only 4km to the nearest grocery store) During our stay, we were also working for some time, the internet was all right but not good enough if you have meetings, other than that, it worked fine. During the breaks we could just come to the playground and play volleyball or football which was a great relax. And last but not least, very flexible, friendly and helpful hosts! They helped us a ton, as we didn't have our own car so the host arranged a taxi for us to bring us to Utena (nearby town) from where we took a bus to the airport in Kaunas. Highly recommend this place! 😊

The location near the lake, privacy, comfortable layout of the house with living, dining area, fully equipped kitchen and patio with comfortable seating. There are nets over windows, so you can sleep with open window without any mosquitos. Plus activities like sauna, boat. Easy communication with the owner. Thank you! :)
