This is a great place! It is in regular Mexican neighborhood, if that is wild for you, well, be informed. Plenty safe. There is a tourist bus very close to property, free, very cool. There is an awesome park/ river very close also. If you are an experienced traveler, this place is AWESOME! Very short walk to Mercado Cerritos, and towards downtown you can walk along the river the whole way, about 20-30 mins, but easy bus access also straight down to Parque Alameda in 8-10 mins. Nice to be a little away from downtown for me, I was there during August vacation time and the center was pretty packed and busy.

    The hotel's location is excellent, in the historic center of the city, within walking distance of the main tourist attractions. The hotel's parking lot is very close to the hotel, which is convenient for those who are driving. The staff were very friendly. The room is small but everything works and the bed is large (king size).
