I had a fantastic stay! I booked a private room with a bathroom, and it exceeded expectations — cozy, clean, and very comfortable. The highlight was the view: a beautiful waterfall running right by the hostel, creating such a peaceful and unique atmosphere. The shared/common area was superb — fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. A lot of thought clearly went into making the space welcoming and functional. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-maintained place to stay.

There is a combo clothes washer/dryer and a drying rack, so we were able to do our laundry. This is a big plus in a country with few self-service laundromats. Though there is a laundromat in Narvik, it is only open on Thursdays, and only for a short number of hours.) The bed was comfortable. (Note that if you are two people needing separate bedrooms, you need to notify the owner about that ahead of time because otherwise you may find the other bedrooms locked.) The shower was good (steady temperature, good pressure, and well-enclosed). There was a bathmat. Parking is free and right in front of the house. The location is quiet. The owner lives close by. It is only about a 20-minute walk to restaurants. As advertised, the view is fantastic, especially the sunsets.

This property is very close to the main bus stops and the Arctic Train. It is not as close to the ski field but is only a short ride away on a local bus, which stops within 50 m. The facilities are very good and Andes is very helpful.

Great location and fun atmosphere. Especially enjoyed the coffee machine! The building is old but nicely maintained and old buildings have character and charm that newer buildings lack.
