The dinner was the best we have had in Norway and it was wonderful to be one tiny part of preserving the history of such a beautiful place. We walked to the sculpture garden at our hosts recommendation and we were cozy inside while the wind blew and the sea crashed under the docking in the night.

Beautiful, stylish hotel - love the floor to ceiling windows, the cozy seating, the bed in the middle of the room, and dark-walled bathrooms. Very clean. One of the best breakfasts on our trip, and delicious Arctic char for dinner. Friendly staff helped us charge our electric vehicle. Could easily stay more than the two nights we did to explore all the hiking in this part of the Vesterålens.

We liked pretty much everything - the hotel is stylish and modern, we had a room with sea view. It was a midnight sun season, but it was possible to make the room absolutely dark when needed. Shower was also nice. Breakfast was diverse and tasty. There is a nice pub with relatively cheap food (for Norwegian standards) in the building right next to the hotel. There are also supermarkets and a museum in 1 minute walking distance. The hotel has parking with EV chargers. Just amazing!

The location was beautiful and during midnight sun it was gorgeous. There was a lot to do and see in the area and it worked great as a "home base" during my stay in the area.
