What a wonderful little cottage! We loved it from the minute we pulled up. Easy to find, about 15 minutes from Hokitika and 15 minutes from Greymouth. The beautiful gardens all around the property, the wonderful view across the field, a nice patio to sit at and have your supper. How nice to be welcomed with a bowl of fresh fruit, a carton of milk and a bottle of orange juice in the fridge. There’s a large washing machine with laundry soap provided and you can hang your clothes on the drying rack inside or outside on the line. This is truly a home away from home. Everything. Lovely hosts and clean house. The beds are super comfortable; we woke up to beautiful garden view outside the window. It was considerate to prepare various drinks (although we didn’t have chance to enjoy) aside from milk in the fridge, as well as candies and banana muffins (delicious).

Fantastic place to stay when riding the West Coast Wilderness Trail. A small home with all the amenities of a home, compared to the typical rental. Highly recommended!

Kids LOVED this location. loved the playground and zipline. It was quiet and comfortable. Each unit had it's own little outdoor space. We had our own picnic table outside our small cabin. It was perfect. The kitchen was clean and had adequate supplies. Bathrooms and showers were also clean. It's a relatively small place so bathrooms and kitchen were close by. Overall, it was just really easy to stay there because everything was easy to use and access and kids were happy.

The delicious food at the restaurant and the experience of dining in a space that felt almost like living as a local made this the most wonderful feel of our entire trip. I hope to return to this place the next time I visit New Zealand.

The manager was very nice and very accommodating. There was someone already in our rooms so he gave us an upgrade which was great.
