Lovely historical hotel. Great outdoor seating near fire. Very unique and country vibes. Great restaurant, great food. The atmosphere especially was so amazing. It was like you were transported to an old German countryside inn. Very one of a kind. Staff were so awesome. Very informative and helpful. The room and beds were clean and comfy, bathroom clean and generally clean.

The property was fabulous from check in to check out. All the staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. The room was well appointed with lots of little fine touches such as a candle and matches by the bath. The wine tasting was fun to do, the food in the restaurant was delicious, we ate in there both nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had a facial in the spa which was the best I’ve had in a long time. We were sad to leave and would happily have spent a few more days there exploring the vineyards and relaxing. But I have to say the staff made it! Thank you for looking after us so well, we will be back!

    We’ve been travelling for nearly a month and have stayed in Motels mainly. So Cardrona Hotel had a lot more luxury about it. Cosy, comfortable clean. Open fires. Great food in restaurant for evening meal and breakfast. Fabulous place to stay with onsite parking.

    From stopping in the car park to heading into reception you could feel something spectacular about this place! The staff where super friendly, the rooms where amazing and the bed was so good, such a great experience that everyone should stop off and stay the night, because the food…. Was literally out of this world! The steak was one of the best I’ve ever had and the whole vibe of the place was so chill and refreshing.

    The buzz of apres ski every arvo in an old historical hotel, with original stone fireplaces and leather lounges. The wide variety of bar or fabulous restaurant food was brilliant each night and they were super flexible if I just wanted the bar menu. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and happily chatted while I got my morning barista coffee! The location to Cardrona ski field is brilliant (10 mins to the bottom Pines car park). Super clean comfy room.
