The Location was perfect, the garden was incredible. the fruit peas were abundant with fruit, it truly was agardeners paradise. we sat outside for quite awhile , the sprinkler was going and the local birds were relishing the water . It was truly a highlight of our time in NZ. Jenny our host was amazing. Thank you Jenny from Greg and Cheryl

Elaine was a great host from before we arrived until our departure. Weather forecast changed so we asked if we could change our dates and she was able to accommodate us with no fuss. Provided excellent advice on cycle trails and general local knowledge. Accommodation was fantastic and the supplies provided for breakfast were generous and of very good standard.

The approach to the home is spectacular-a long tree-lined drive with overhanging branches leading to a private estate with English gardens. Our bags were delivered before we arrived and the host family had arranged to have them delivered to our apartment. We had the "loft"- a second floor apartment built upon the garage which had also been built out into an apartment. The resident of the downstairs apartment came out to greet us and was a very charming and welcoming hostess. We found the apartment to have all of the amenities we needed and we were quite comfortable, The location on the rail trail was convenient for our travel but required a significant walk to get into town for dinnner.
