Actually the host provided the passkey code for the door lock 3-5 days prior to our actual arrival. Very attentive, we needed an iron and the host provided one the morning after our arrival. The host also provided us with information on places from dinning to sightseeing.

This was our 1st time visiting PR. Sammy our host was extremely professional, readily available, and expressed prompt communication with our inquiries. We even got to check in early as one of our friends arrived before the rest of us. Dorado is about 30 min away from San Juan, quiet community with friendly locals. The clean secluded beach is about <10 min walk from the property. The property was as expected from the photos except that the layout in the unit we stayed in (3B, 2Bath) didn't have your usual living room space, so the kitchen/dining area served as our common living room. The property has thin walls so you can hear everything going on in the next room or bathroom lol. We were alone first 2 days so we had the outside area to ourselves. The first guests we saw were really cool so we made friends. After that more visitors came and we let them used the outside amenities as they were a larger group than our 5. There's a shower and restroom outside which was convenient for us when both restrooms were occupied. Beach towels were provided, and the laundry was great to have. You do have to purchase detergent, trash bags, coffee filter, and toilet paper after you've used what was provided. We left coffee filters for the next tenant, trash bags, salt/pepper, unused/un-open water bottle and detergent. We informed Sammy of that too so it doesn't go to waste. The floors are tile and if you don't keep the fan on then the moisture will accumulate making the floor extremely slippery, a huge FALL RISK. We heard a tenant from another unit take a pretty bad fall so BE CAREFUL. Shower pressure/heat were excellent, the model of the shower is open glass doors so water does spill over to the ground. You'll need a larger towel then the bath mat to capture the water. The Heineken Bar around the corner was our go-to bar before bed, the gas station has a bakery inside, order the buttered toast in the morning it's excellent for $1.30.
