The staff were just wonderful - the owners worked so hard to make our trip special. My daughter's birthday was the day after we left but they made sure she felt special. This is a great place for families, solo travellers and those travelling for work. Highlights: exceptionally clean, a lovely breakfast, a characterful property and a great location for museum and bus station.

Beautiful room in a lovely building with a supermarket and restaurant downstairs. Helpful and understandable staff as well as they let me stay when I had just arrived and pay the next day since I had to first change the money. They also have taxes outside which is helpful.

It’s a good small space in an interesting and central neighbourhood (Nyamirambo close to Amarangi) It’s private and had everything we needed, warm showers and a kitchen with cooking supplies. Thanks to Rabia for being super friendly!!!

I had a wonderful stay at the Faraja Guest house. The staff were super friendly and was very helpful. Spacious room, great interior design, and the house vibe was very comfortable. Jean Claude and his family at High Ground Villas are genuinely the best hosts and most wonderful people. What a fantastic introduction to Rwanda and its people. The apartments at High Ground Villa are 10/10. Absolutely beautiful decor, the beds are so comfortable and the entire complex is clean and cosy. I honestly can't do justice with words, as to how good High Ground Villas are! Exceeded all of our expectations and more. The location is peaceful with amazing birds eye views of the city below. Cynthia, the maid is brilliant 👏, she cannot do enough for you. The breakfast is full of fresh ripe fruits, omelette and much more. You don't just feel like a customer here, you feel like an old friend and part of this wonderful family. If your considering a stay in Kigali, please do not hesitate to stay at High Ground Villa with Jean Claude! You will love everything about your choice.
