Remote, peaceful location with stunning view. You can spend time here relaxing, exploring the surroundings or plan a day trip to the seaside or to Triglav National Park as they are both located at a reasonable distance. The apartment was tasteful, cozy, clean and well equiped. We really enjoyed it. Hosts are very nice and friendly, they gave us lots of ideeas for spending time in the area and if you ever miss being in your grandma's house you should definitely have breakfast at the small restaurant near by.

My host was extremely kind and helpful, even if the check-in was only in the afternoon, I was able to put my things in the apartment and change clothes in the morning. The apartment was sparkling clean, very well equipped. The host owns a pastry shop, and there is an excellent pizzeria across the street. The location is excellent for exploring the Goriška Brda, as well as the Soča valley, all the way to Bovec.

The facilities are very clean and well-maintained. While it's clearly meant to be a hostel, the common areas are also rather stylish and pleasant to be in, with books to read and board games to pass the time. The organization and is also great, with clear instructions next to appliances and such. The owner and staff are very kind and full of information about the local area, and there are also plenty of maps and other reading material about local events available in the common area. The area around the hostel has a few bakeries and shops, and there's a few bus stations near that take you to the center of town, as well as a train station (note - the google maps location of the train station isn't quite right! It's actually under where the buses turn around). Other than the occasional train and minor noise coming from a nearby workshop, the area is very quiet. Every bed has an assigned place on the food shelf in the kitchen, and a locker with a key inside the rooms. The mattresses are comfortable and there's a privacy curtain on the beds, as well as a reading light. You can also turn off the main room light from your bed.

The location is ideal for exploring both Brda and Collio, beautiful hill country, vinyards and olive groves. The apartment was spotlessly clean, everything we needed was provided, plus even coffee and local wine. Erika is an amazingly gracious hostess, thank you again, will always like to come back!

The staff was very kind. The view was wonderful. The location is near both to the (sandy and rocky) beaches and nice cities (even Venice was accessible in reasonable time) and mountains. The whole site is a historical field alone, with many relics from WWI.
